Is it better to stay at home with kids

I think so. It is worth the sacrafice. I understand about men be able to be nurturers but most of the time they don't do their fair share. Un less of course you work 2 differnt shifts. Nobody accept maybe a grandparent can love and nuture your child the way you can. Of course sometimes there is no chioce.
I just think most couple put a much higher life style above their kids . I stayed home in th80's it was a sacrfice I never regretted nor my husband of 25 years.

I don't understand what this has to do with fitness and health workout site, other than you are trying to pick a fight?

Let's keep to the subject of health and fitness, something we all agree on and is important.

Danger, Danger!!! This thread will cause people to say things you won't want to read!!! It's a "no-win" argument that will have people calling each other names and expletives that will not brighten your day...............stay away!!! Run!!!! Go now!!!

You are the deer hunting vs. dog fighting poster, aren't you? All I can say is...wow.

This debate will continue forever and ever. It's a no-win - there are positives and negatives to both. SAHMs become really boring and obsessed about really stupid things (sometimes) yet they are doing this most important thing - watching and being there for their children. WOHMs still have a life, are generally happier, but consumed with the guilt of not staying home. Can't win this argument. There's no answer.

I was not looking to start a fight. I was just looking for support hoping I wasn't the only one who believed it is worth the sacrfice to stay home.

To OP - I am sorry I can't take you seriously. You sound barely literate.

9:38 - if you were the original poster you stated that you did this in the 80's, so I don't really believe you are looking for support now in 2007?
you were looking for a fight, or to make others feel bad, or what ever - this is not the place.
