I am a bit down and depressed, looking for a book that will uplift me or inspire me. I failed my exam and need something to get going again

Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill. It talks about a lot of things relative to financial success, but it highlights the power of persistence. Simply put, the only way you fail is if you quit. Failing an exam is not failing, you just didn't do the work.

Loved "The Life of Pi" and "The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down"....both are about response to adversity....both totally lifted me up and made me feel better....and both made me cry. Pi is fiction....Spirit is nonfiction.
SO sorry you failed your test....hang in there!
Mary Oliver's poetry is great too. If you need a quick lift, hit link below...it is my prayer for hard times....gets me through.
