How does the Beck Diet Solution work?
why should I buy the book- a couple people told me to and I want to see if anyone else found it helpful. thank you!

You can go to Amazon and read a synopsis or go to her website (beckdietsolution.com) It's basically a companion to whatever weightloss program you choose. It helps you with the things that get in the way of experiencing and maintaining success when it comes to weight loss. It works with the mindset that gets in the way (I deserve that cookie!), emotional eating, socially pressured eating, etc. I think it's awesome - it has finally taken the struggle out of weight loss for me and makes it all seem easy.

I'vs also found it great and I think I've read every diet book out there that concerns emotional eating. It uses principles concerning changing your thinking - if I start to think of bingeing, I just think of some things frm the book and in minutes, I can move on without giving in to it. It deals with sabatoging thoughts and how to plan eating on vacation or a restaurant and how to get back on track. It has NO food tips - just tips to stay on the diet of your choice. Very easy reading and easy to put into practice. It has helped me tremendously.

Beck Diet Solution
Highly recommend- it is not really a diet, it uses "Cognitive Behavior Therapy" which is a more structured version of traditional therapy. She gives a lot of practical advice. If you want to join a team of Beck Diet people, please join "Mind Over Matter"- I've linked to it below. It has really helped me.
