I grabbed a bowl of instant noodles - kimchi. not the healthiest snack, but I figured, its 190 calories and 7 grams of fat, thats not bad, and I love them!
But I just looked closely at the label. That is only for HALF a bowl!
I am sure other people are way more detail oriented than I am, and would have noticed this long ago, but just a word to the wise - watch those labels!

I got really mad a Schwans co a few months ago.
In their catalog they have a desert that comes in lemon and cherry and 140 cal. So I thought well I will give that a try. It said six - eight ounce containers and 140 cal. Well when I bought it and could look at the package inside, once you open it that was for 4 oz. Now how many people expect a desert the size of a yogurt to have to be split in half?
I was so disgusted. It was way to sugary sweet anyway but I spent like 8 bucks on that thinking it would be a nice treat once in a while.
So I guess we just really have to pay attention to the labels and then measure and weigh everything too since they are not always accurate either.

ever read yoghurt labels? all (99%) of them contain corn starch as a thickening agent. why?
