Does anyone do spin classes? I am going to my first one this week. I have to say - I am a little intimidated! It looks hard.

My advice would be pace yourself, don't push too hard your first day and hurt something. Drink plenty of water ahead of time because even a little bit of dehydration can make a big difference in your stamina, and drink more afterwards. Some stretching afterwards would be good as well - make sure your muscles stay limber and don't freeze up.
Above all - try to have fun and enjoy yourself!

Get someone (preferably the class leader) to help you adjust the pedals and seat for you and show you how to do this. Also bring a towel for when you start to sweat.....and do pace yourself so it is fun....you can make it as easy or hard as you want. Make it easy and fun enough so you WANT to go back and make it challenging enough so you get a good workout.
