I know there are many threads on this topic, I just finished searching them. However, my question is a little different than those brought up in the past.
I am interested in doing a cleanse, preferably 5 days or less. I am of a healthy weight, I exercise regularly and eat balanced meals. I am NOT interested in a cleanse for weight loss reasons I am interested in one for health and detox reasons. I found information on juice cleanses or cleanses where you buy a supplement. I am interested in doing one that is all natural.
Has anyone completed something like this and if so would you be willing to share the details of what you did and for how long? Thank you in advance!

If you are just trying to flush out toxins, food preservatives, and give your digestive system a bit of a rest, a one day juice fast every month using fresh squeezed veggie and fruit juices is a sensible and effective detox. I usually go to the juice bar at wild oats and have them juice a few veggie drinks, then I juice my own fruits at home. If you have a realitivly clean diet and are not a heavy smoker/drinker/etc, you don't really need a 5-day detox. If you insist though, I would consider doing the Phase One of the Fat Smash Diet minus the dairy products and eggs.

Try a colonic. You can have your first one and then no more than 3 days later, have a 2nd one. Your body releases more toxins and junk the 2nd time around!

Thanks for the ideas. I think I'll try a juice fast on a non exercise day.
