what's the quickest weight loss you have had?

I am wondering if I could possibly lose 15 pounds in three weeks ... I am about 35 pounds overweight.

Please just answer the question and don't lecture me about safe weight loss - I KNOW ! I KNOW! Thanks for the thought, though.

Thanks!

That seems like a lot in a short period of time. But I, too, am curious. I was wondering how much weight I could lose by Christmas!

When I had 70 lbs to lose and lept right into working out 2-3 hours a day 6 days a week and eating 1600 calories a day, I lost 11 lbs in one month. After that I was lucky to lose 2 lbs a month - I plateau very easily. I often wonder if I screwed myself up for good during my "biggest loser" month, which was over a year ago. I'm still nowhere near my goal.

Quickest weight loss I ever had was 10 lbs in a week. My young brother was killed in a traffic accident and I just couldn't eat. Of course the weight came back on once I started eating again.

Short of a starvation, dehydration or a good ole fashioned stomach virus that lasts a week - NO.

15 lbs in 1.5 months when I was in Peru, mostly because of the altitude sickness, hiking, and constantly battling stomach parasites.

15 pounds in about 1,5 weeks by drinking orange juice only... i know, i know, i was in my early 20s and wanted to try this kind of 'detox' (as I thought). first two-three days thought about food constantly, and simply felt sick of not eating. after the forth day, didn't care, eat or not. breasts were hanging, cheeks disappeared, and skin sagged. got back almost 25 in the next 2 weeks.

NOT WORTH IT.

I lost 21 pounds in 9 days but I don't remember how. I think it was slimfast 3 times a day but it was a long time ago.
I don't know I think it might be possible but I know the closer you are to your ideal weight the harder it is to lose.
Right now I am averaging 5 pounds a week. Really low cal. But I don't excersize. So I am giving my body enough.
I hope that you can lose enough to be satisfied by it.

Whatever it is that you're trying to lose the weight for, if you do something that allows you to lose 15 lbs in 3 weeks, you won't feel good at the end of it, so whatever the "occasion" is, ask yourself if you'd rather feel good, have energy, etc., (and possibly about 5lbs lighter if you work hard, healthily) or rather be 15 lbs lighter but pretty sick.
