This is probably a stupid question, but I really do not know. When doing squats, does it help tone your hips as well? When I do squats, I can really feel it working my calfs through my thighs, but I was just wondering if it also helped with hips. Thanks.

It's known as a great leg and glute exercise. It certainly helps with flexibility of the hip though.

squats- the king of all weightlifing execises

Just make sure that your knees never go past your toes during the squat and it's best not to let your thighs go below a 90 degree angle w/ the rest of your leg. Proper form is key to not getting injured and creating gorgeous muscle!!!
