tai chi

how does tai chi compare with yoga? it's my understanding that tai chi is mostly poses that stretch and as you hold these poses, you breath purposefully to achieve relaxation. am i on the right track?

Tai Chi and Qi Gong work by unlocking the flow of energy in your body. It has numerous health benefits. Yoga (depending on the type you are doing) increases flexibility, particularly Hatha yoga which is very common in the US. It also has additional health benefits such as lowered blood pressure and the benefits that come from that. Some types of yoga can be used weight bearing exercise and to increase your cardiovascular endurance.
