I can't answer your question, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you are doing ok. Call your Dr's nurse, I am sure he/she could answer this question for you. Take care.

I would think probably for at least one cycle of your menstrual cycle-since your body naturally has hormone fluctuations during every month, it will probably take just as long to get them to leave your system.

So sorry about the miscarriage. That's a really horrible thing to go through.

I would definetely call your dr. My friend miscarried not long ago and her dr. had her come in 14 days later to do a pregnancy test to make sure everything was out and it was negative.

It is probably a bit different with everybody... Part of it probably depends on how long you were pregnant... I ended up having a d&c with mine- I was 9 weeks along. I just kept going in for blood work... must have only been once after the d&c if at all...

I did easily get pregnant 2 months later... we had tried so hard for over 2 years to get the first pregnancy that we did not try and prevent after awhile.. figured what was the point?

I would actually suggest going to a doctor not only to find out if you are still pregnant (which is rare but does happen) but also to do an ultrasound to find out if all of the tissue came out . If it didn't, (which is common), it can actually rot and create some bad issues. Eaither way, see your doc.
