Types of Dietary Fat

I know that some years ago the advice for a healthy diet ("diet" in the sense of daily intake, not in the weight-loss sense of the word) was that no more than 30% of one's calories should come from fat, and that saturated fats were to be avoided.

Now it is recognized that there are many kinds of dietary fat -- not just poly-unsaturated and mono-unsaturated, but also trans-fats and good Omega-3 oils and Omega-6 oils and goodness knows what else. Does anyone on PT feel like they have a handle on what the percentages of the different KINDS of lipid should be in a healthy diet?
