Looking for Members With Goals To Lose 100 lbs.
Hi, I am a 40 year-old single mom, and I live in Small Town, USA. I speed-walk 4.5 miles minimum per day, and have been walking for exercise for nearly 3 months. I have lost 23 lbs., and have 100 more to go to reach my target weight of 140 lbs.
A friend was walking with me initially but it turns out that she does not have the same motivation and desire to lose weight (the kind you can taste and feel in your bones), and she quit walking about a month ago, while I have continued my walking regimen. I would like to share stories, tips and recipes with others who also need support and encouragement! I look forward to meeting you!

Good for you losing and walking so faithfully! I too had a walking partner at one time and once she moved my walking has stopped. I have 100 lbs to lose and love walking. Unfortunately it gets dark early and is so cold and icy in this Canadian winter that I don't get out to walk, but probably would if I had a friend to motivate me. I should try to join a gym. You have inspired me!
