Don't expect to keep it up! It's not realistic! max 2 lbs per week adds up pretty quickly (40 lbs in 5 months) and is more likely to stay off!

Not wanting to rain on your parade....just being realistic. Congrats! Keep up the healthy habits (assuming you have some and this isn't herbal magic weight loss....)

OP-- nope, no herbal magic, just baby steps... I have been in the dieting gane A LONG time and know the first wi is always the best (thanks to dropping mostly water weight) You didn't rain... I, too, know reality.

I will keep doing it regardless of the scale saying 11 or 1.

Good for you OP.
That is an excellent and exciting start. I love it when you can get a boost like that to begin with.
Be proud of yourself you made it one week.

OP here...

I paid attention to everything I put in my mouth. On normal occasion i am horrible at getting overwhelmed too quickly, then beating myself up when I messed up... this week i didn't care what I ate as long as I wrote it down, as the days went on I found I ate healthier because I wasn't beating myself up for my "slips" and giving in early. I did up my activity but not much and eventhough I am on WW I wasn't logging everything in.

I started with little changes, last week it was writing after biting, this week I plan to take a walk every night.
