What exactly can Benefiber do for you?

I know people whose doctors told them to use it because they have irritable bowel syndrome. I don't. But I also heard you can use it as an appetite suppressant. Anybody have the 411 on this? I need accurate info. Thanks.

Well it's fiber so it fills you up. It should make you feel less hungry. But don't over do it or you'll have cramping and bad gas. Among other things. I know it says to use 2 tablespoons 3 times a day but I'd just put a teaspoon in a large water glass with each meal. See how that goes. All you want is to feel full so you don't eat too much right? Your not looking for a laxative?
