Do you ever think your scale is lying?

I was in the 120's on the scale this morning after eating the entire kitchen sink over thanksgiving and post thanksgiving. I was sure I gained at least 4 pounds but it only showed 1 pound. I actually got on the scale 3 times this morning because I didn't believe it but I got the same response 3 times. Do the readings become inaccurate as the batteries start to wane? I know, I should just be happy but I can't help but feel suspicious! Indulge my insanity, please.

I sometimes think my scale lies to me too. Like if I wake up and weigh and then go to the bathroom and weigh again and it says MORE....like that is possible?!?! Stupid scales.

I'm certain the scale is lying every time that thing goes up ;)

Something to consider: you would've had to eat 14,000 extra calories to gain 4 pounds. And, maybe you did and it won't show up on the scale for another day or two! Just kidding! Don't do what I usually do, though, and marvel at my ability to eat and not gain weight - it always catches up to you!

I work at a doctors offic.e. They have a digital scale. I swear I can get on that thing three times in a row and get a different reading all ranging up to a 6 lb difference one time. I mean up down, up down, up down. No walking away, just resetting it. I KNOW THAT DAMN THING LIES, LOL!
