Order of Workout - Upper/Lower

I have Kathy Smith's Rules of Fat Burning DVD and you can design your own workout; choosing from about 6 different things. I always do Strength Training Lower Body first (20 min) and then Strength Training Upper Body 2nd (20 min). But when she starts the Upper Body segment she says "In this first segment...." I'm wondering if it matters if I do upper or lower first?? I'm quite new to this whole working out with weights deal. Thanks for any thoughts.

I don't think it matters, you just want to take note if you're working the same muscle groups (e.g., you're using your legs for one of the upper body moves, which may make doing a lower body move with the same muscles a little more difficult.) Ultimately, you're probably okay going in whatever order! Have fun! I got fabulous results when I added weights to my routine!
