Is a diet right for me

i am 5' and 120 pounds do you hink a diet is right for me

Are you new here? I think you've started a number of discussions in the past few minutes. Sometimes it takes hours or days for people to respond to posts. This isn't a chat room, it's just a message board. It'd be cool if PeerTrainer started a chatroom though!! Then it'd be easy to get advice right away.

I posted in one of your other threads about seeing a nutritionist if you're going to diet, since you're already at a healthy weight. That's my response to this thread too. Without having seen your body or knowing your body type, I honestly don't think that anyone on this site is qualified to tell you whether you should diet or not.

Of course, it's never a bad idea to eat healthily. Whole grains, lean proteins (poultry, beans, soy, nuts, etc.), and healthy fats (not animal fats), along with tons of fruits and vegetables, can never hurt. Just be sure that, whether you're "dieting" or not, you're getting enough calories and nutrients for your body to operate properly. It's not recommended to ever go under 1000 or 1200 calories a day, and you need to eat more if you exercise.
