DO Not touch it!!!

Add some zit cream and leave it alone. salic acid works well.

i heard on Oprah one day they had a stylist for the stars and he said calmine (sp?) lotion, you know the stuff in the pink bottle. It reduces the swelling significantly overnight. Use it for two to three days.

I get those kind on my chin and it is awful! put a wash cloth under VERY hot water and hold it on there for a few minutes. Repeat, repeat again. In the morning it MAY come to a head and it may get smaller. Other than that I'm not sure what else you can do. Even my daughter's Proactive mask doesn't work on that kind!

If you have the money, a dermatologist can inject it (i forget with what) and it will go down immediately.

yeah, that's the cyst-type acne, don't pop those you're likely to get nasty scars. that being said, nothing really works on them but a warm compress to try to bring them up.

don't touch it and put something on it that will dry it out. the hot cloth is a good idea. just don't play with it - you don't want a scar!!!

Back in my teenage years I went to a dermatologist. They did a dry ice treatment. The nurse told my Mom and I that whenever one of them (the nurses, staff, etc...) was feeling a zit come on they would put dry ice on that spot and it would go away within 24 hours, no breaking the skin, so no scar, etc... I know they used to sell it out of a large deep freezer at the fromt of my grocery.

Get a sterile needle and pop that sucker!!! Don't forget to squeeze the 'seed' out too or it will pop up again. Darn ACNE!

lemon essential oil will dry it out and try a green coloured concealer if it is red to hide it, just try not to touch it (know how difficult it is though!!!)

I get these alot. I find standing in the shower and letting hot water fall on the zit is easier than compresses. A deep cyst should never be squeezed or popped. There is a lot of it below the surface and you can "seed" some of the material and cause one to pop up elsewhere. A dermatologist can do that if appropriate. The best thing is repeated moist heat. It will shrink it. Then use concealer. Good luck.
