Peer Trainer Site

Any thoughts on how this site could be improved? I would like for our team to have a ticker where we can input how much weight we have lost - or at least a way to input weight loss/gain for everyone to see. Some sort of chart? I don't know...Something...Thoughts?

i think that board comments should list which member published them. I think it would do away with a lot of the extra negative comments from people. Plus, it would give us all a chance to know some members and their lifestyles better than just the few in our groups.

i would like to see specific areas for weight to be entered and see a progress chart of the weight loss. sometimes seeing your results on a chart makes it more real...just a thought.

I completely agree on a spot in our logs to put in our weekly or monthly weight log-ins! It would feel more organized. Great idea. :D

thanks! i would also like to see an automatic tickler for food value, calories, fat, fiber, etc. it sure would make it easier to track what we're eating.

I agree with more calorie counting and weight loss entries. I go to WebMD for that right now. but it would be really nice to have it all i one place!
I do think that the Community should be annonomous unless you choose to put your name on it. That way you can be more upfront about your issues without feeling judged. We jsut need to igore the nasty people out there...

I appreciate that we are annonomous here. If not I would rarely say anything, I am just too shy.
I would also like some sort of weightloss tracker.
Also a place to mark the water intake.
And where we have personal notes I wish it were only for that day and not carry on through every day. There are things I would post for my own benefit but aside from dating everything there is no way to know when it was posted and it would eventually get too long.

Maybe just a straight-up chronological log. I like to have sub-tallies of my calories, but the 'snacks' section always throws me off.

I'm thinking almost like a daily planner that is visible to other group members (like google's calendar program...).

yeah - i think incorporating a calorie space would be good.

weight ticker for the teams would be interesting - which teams are really losing...

i think commenting should remain anonymous. even when they require a name, you can just put empty space or + signs...
