Are these workout schedules basically the same?
Three days a week, and do 15/ 30 min circuit training and then cardio for 45 minutes
(going to the gym 3 out of 7 days of the week.)
Three days a week of 15/30 minute circuit training
Three days a week of cardio for 45 minutes
(totaling going to the gym for 6 out of 7 days of the week)
I'm a dancer, so I do about 3-4 hours of dancing a day, so I get exercise daily. I have to add extra weight training and cardio to get strength and loose a smidgen of weight.
Any thoughts on which schedule is better? My schedule is crazy, so it's easier for me to just go to the gym three days out of the week and stay for two or so hours, rather than making time to get to the gym for 6 days.

Given that you dance for hours a day, you're pressed for time, your goal is to lose some weight and build strength - I'd ditch the extra cardio and just do strength training three days a week. Shake up your current routine, maybe add some new moves and you will get the best results in half the time you now spend at the gym.
If you love your current workout routine - I'd do the first option, which cuts out your extra trips to and from the gym.
