OT - mascara

Okay you PT girls, you haven't let me down yet and now I need some more advice. I need some mascara that doesn't clump! I keep buying different brands, hoping that this one won't let me down....but after a month I'm all clumpy and miserable. Have you found one that works?

Hmmmm....is it terribly sexist to assume that only girls know the answer to this one?

Don't pump the wand up and down to load it--instead, kind of rotate it like you're gently stirring the mascara.

Pumping it up and down forces air bubbles into the fluid mascara and dries it out faster. I use cheap grocery-store mascara (water resistant, not waterproof--which clumps more readily) and haven't had clumping problems since some magazine article taught my teen self that trick 25 years ago.

I feel your pain! I HATE buying mascara. However, I LOVE Avon mascaras - I always have good luck with them. Nice and smooth and no clumps!

I agree with a previous poster about the Avon mascaras. They are pretty go. Or the Mark brand from Avon as well, is actually much better. Big brushes, and no clumping.

KISS ME Mascara

The best one I have found is KISS ME mascara. You can check it out online....the big benefit is it never runs or smears either.

It's pricey, but it's good....GIORGIO ARMANI *does NOT* clump whatsoever and lasts a long time!!

I like Lancome defina-lash? It's called something like that, Never any clumps with this brand ever. I'm actually over the 3 months to replace it and still no clumps.

Should Replace Every 3 Months

I know it can get pricey, but the welfare of your eye is way too important

the clumpiest and one of the most expesive

is Christian Dior "diorshow" it was like $25 but everyone was swearing by it - what a dry, clumpy mess. I even exchanged it for another one thinking maybe that one was faulty - no it was just the same. Sephora is so great though - they let you return anything and everything, until you are happy. Here are my opinions on some:
lancome l'extreme lengthening - AWESOME $23.50
bourjois-pump up the volume $14.50
make up forever lengthening-$19
maybelline Define-A-Lash® Washable Lengthening Mascara -$5 yes five dollars lol and it is awesome

i love makeup!
