I agree...... enough already - join a WW group, they should have all the info you need.

If people have questions they will be answered by the community. This is a place where people help people, and not be censored or shouted down.

A 3oz portion of boneless, skinless chicken breast is about the size of a deck of cards, for reference. So the chicken breast that you pull out of a package from a grocery store may be 2-3 times that big, so 6 to 9 points. A whole double-breast is probably over 13 points.

I always weigh my portions to make sure how many oz they are..It's a good idea to weigh and measure in the beginning..Also if you find your not getting the results you think you should be getting, after being on the program a while..then you should also start to weigh and measure things again..portions tend to start getting bigger..

Thank you, 7:15 pm poster!
I agree about this being a place for questions to be asked and answered. For those who don't want to read WW points questions, don't open the discussion links that relate to those questions - most of them are indicated in the topic line.

people can ask any question they want, that's why its an online forum. Doesn't mean you need to read and/or comment on the question because you think its dumb. Some people think its dumb to spend money on a diet program when you can use your resources and do the same diet.

PP - I think this was cleared up 4 years ago. This thread is pretty ancient.

And imagine what it took to find it and bump it up from so long ago. Sad.

Figuring out Points in a Mom and Pop Restaurant
A lot of "Mom and Pop" restaurants do not have a nutrition list so I find my self giving the points to what I think. I know this stinks, but does anyone have a different way to find out the real answer to how many points?
Saturday, May 08, 2010, 3:50 PM
PP - I usually look for a similar chain restaurant that has a nutritional guide, and use that for mom and pop restaurants. The points may not match up exactly, but it's probably better than guessing.
