After an in-depth analysis of your post I have determined that your husband is frustrated with your inability to accurately, concisely and completely communicate your thoughts on issues that are bothering you. ;-)

What kind of thoughts would you expect one to generate from a one-word anonymous post? I'm genuinely curious there - not trying to be antagonistic. I am, of course, pressuming that you are looking for genuine feedback from the community.

Nobody is ever just cranky for no reason...whether it be that hes working to hard...or not working hard enough....over tired...or bored...or something else is bugging him...theres always a reason. Try to think objectively about what he may be feeling, or whats changed in his behavior. Was he always this cranky? from my own experience it almost never helps to say to someone " why are you so cranky?" or " what the hell has been wrong with you?" lol it'd be better to get a clearer idea of how you feel before you talk to him about it. We're here to listen give us some more details if you're havin trouble:)

How about exploring sources of free counseling in your city or county? In my town, there is a phone number called Helpline. One call to that number can connect a local person to free in-town services, both public and/or religious. Perhaps doing Google searches on the name of your town + "social services" can help you find local help.

Once you've found appropriate help, and If you cannot persuade your spouse to go with you, just go by yourself -- you can learn both coping skills and interpersonal skills even if you just go by yourself. Good luck. Let us know how you're doing.

Counciling? really? for crankiness? Just ask him what's up.

Chances are, he's stressed out about something. I get cranky when I'm tired, stressed and my boss is being a total tool.
