I'm finally ready to start tackling the extra weight I put on this past two years since breaking my foot. It really curtailed my ability to exercise, and being relatively sedentary has really caught up with me.
Short-term Goals:
1. Log every day for the next 60 days, starting on March 28, 2016. Print out daily logs and at the end of every week and analyze logs to identify room for improvement.
2. McDougall Diet principles with an emphasis on raw vegetables and fruit. Aspire to have one big salad every day (lunch or dinner) or supercharged green smoothie (goal is minimum 3 cups greens daily)
3. No alcohol
4. Focus on keeping hydrated and drinking lots of water (64 oz. per day)
5. Short term goal is to lose 10 pounds by May 27, 2016 and the remaining 10 pounds the second half of 2016 so that by the end of the year I am 120.
Goal for today
- 2 pounds of green leafy veggies
-64 oz. water
-1 cup coffee with steamed soy milk
-1 bowl oatmeal + flax seed + dried currents + cinnamon + almond milk
