My goal is to get healthy again. I used to run half marathons but I hurt my back 2 years ago, so I can no longer run. Instead of running, I plan to lose my weight by doing other forms of exercising like weight lifting, riding my bike, walking on the treadmill, and go swimming in the local pool. I also need to focus on overhauling my eating and not being such an emotional eater.
Sad day. MIL called with the funeral arrangements for my FIL's viewing, everyone's depressed. The kid's are too young to understand that their grandfather has passed away, except for the 11 year old. It is going to be a tough week.
I saw my doctor today and he changed my medications. The Latuda medication made me gain 50 pounds (over the last 6 months) so he took me off it and he went ahead and put me on Topomax. He said it should help me out with my condition as well as help me lose the weight I gained slowly. Let's pray so.
I am still taking Viibryd, an antidepressant. I asked him if I could increase the dosage and he said no. I can't go any higher I'm just going to have to deal with the grieving again. First with my brother dying in March this year, now with my Father-in-law dying yesterday. God help me and give me strength to deal with all of this.
