my notes
eek, the scale is way up. I did not do well in avoiding gas station food on my long drive home. There was heavy rain all through Missouri, and I even stopped for an hour to wait it out. I ate popcorn. But on the positive side, next to the quilt museum in Paducah, there was a farmer's market with one farmer, and I bought grapes, tomatoes, and two apples. So that is mostly what I ate.

I need to drink lots and lots of water to flush the sodium out. Last time it took almost a week for the scale to come to its senses.

Today's Discardia is about money, "Balancing On the Edge of a Cliff," and the solution is "Savings Give you Options." Lots of good advice about building up your savings and spending less. This is not an issue for me right now, so I'm going to put off paying much attention to it right now. The subject will come up again. I will probably go through this book again, but at a slower pace, and spend more time on each area.

I do want to keep on track with the decluttering -- I won't be home to do it today, but I can take a look at my schedule and plan some actions for the rest of this week.

Today is a full day -- I'll be gone from 7 am to almost 8 pm, with lots to do in the in-between times.

Planned: I'll try to walk as much as I can. I've been doing pretty well, at least getting close to 10,000 steps on the non-running days. The next opportunities to run will be Friday and Saturday mornings.
