Ankle still hurts, but getting better. I went in to work with the boot and a request that I be assigned to the less-active tasks yesterday, and it threw them for a bit of a loop, because I didn't go through the bureaucracy. That was on purpose -- I didn't want some person in an office telling me whether I was fit for duty. I thought I'd be less likely to be sent home if I showed up and got clocked in and was already on duty. It worked. I was able to do mostly sitting-down stuff, but I still had 7500 steps (3 1/2 miles). I'll have a similar day today at work, but will probably get more steps, because I'm going to the dentist and then to the old place to pack some things into boxes. Tomorrow's my day "off."

Yesterday's eating went a little over, because I snacked when I got home. Not going to add it up-- I'm cutting myself a break because it's temporary, injury-related stress.

Today, after the dentist and a little packing, I'll stop by Panera or something and get lunch for my lunch bag. I'm out of veggies again, so it won't be the best, but it'll do. This is not the week to lose weight. I just want to hold it steady.
