Scale went up despite a 1,188 calorie deficit yesterday, but that just means there will be a dramatic drop soon. I'll keep it up.
I definitely burned those calories, and there was barely time to eat. I ran for 2 miles in the morning, which was a victory. Then the storms came. At the airport, there was a tornado warning, and we evacuated. Of course, that was fun and exciting. Welcome to Kansas City! And it meant that we'd have a lot of work to do as soon as the evacuation was over. For a couple of hours, we had to re-screen all those passengers and bags. And for the rest of the evening, the place was packed like a sardine can, as flights were delayed, diverted, and sometimes cancelled. Today will be crazy, as all those passengers with cancelled flights will be back (Maybe the AM shift will have to deal with them).
I got home around midnight and didn't sleep well -- up at 5:15 as usual. So I might have to take a nap this morning before work. I won't run today.
