Goal
Weight goal for 2013 - pounds in the 130's (reward @ 130: tattoo). Please?

My 21-Day Sugar Detox: December 26th - January 16th (Round 2!)

Yes - all meat and fish, eggs, vegetables, fats and oils, coffee and tea, coconut/nut milks

Limit - beets, butternut squash and pumpkin (1 cup), coconut juice/water and kombucha (8 oz), green-tipped banana and green apple (1), nuts/seeds and butters (1 serving)

No - refined sugars, all grains and beans, refined carbohydrates, peanuts and cashews, juice, rice/oat milks, soda, soy, bottled dressing, gum, corn, sweet potatoes/yams, white potatoes, winter squash (acorn, delicata, kabocha), pretty much all fruit, all dairy, alcohol

Day 18: 21-Day Sugar Detox (redo) - THREE more days left!

Sleep: Stayed in bed for 9.5 hours. Slept for maybe 8.5 of that (with a bathroom break in-between)? I REALLY needed that.

I don't think I have gained any weight. Maybe lost a pound or two from the detox. But since I haven't visited the gym in a long while, my stomach and upper arms are feeling soft. Now that my car is back in the picture, I would like to start working on that this weekend!

I am wearing a little boy's sized button-down shirt that I bought a year ago and I don't think it has never fit better than it does today.

2 birthday gatherings in bars tonight! I will be gulping lots of soda water. Maybe I should bring a snack as well.

Thoughts- I successfully made it through 2 birthday bar gatherings without eating or drinking anything but soda water. I passed up offerings of sweet potato fries, savory pies, and alcohol. I felt tired and snacky when I got home, but all I ate were 2 brussels sprouts and sesame seeds. Even though I did not need that energy right before bed, that is still an amazing amount of will power for me.


workout
am: walks to/from coffee/bus stops/grocery store - 40 minutes total


breakfast
9:30am: 8 oz. black coffee


lunch
12:30pm: PCC small container roasted cauliflower w. tahini, <1 can tuna w. splash o.o., 1 adult carrot

- Something about this did not make my mouth happy. Maybe the salt from the canned tuna? I know my body was in sodium overload yesterday from all the salami, so maybe I'm a little more sensitive to salt today.


snacks
4pm: large portion smoked salmon, chopped raw baby broccoli tossed with o.o., 3 raw brazil nuts, tiny piece unsweetened chocolate

- Smoked salmon. Salty. Dang.

5:30pm: 1 adult carrot, 2 little salami discs + unsweetened dark chocolate


dinner
7pm: lots of roasted brussels sprouts, 1 albacore tuna steak seared w. sesame oil, coconut aminos
dessert: 1/2 small green-tipped banana + pumpkin spice, 8 oz. black coffee

- Happy full. This should last me the next 5+ hours.

8pm: unsweetened coconut flakes + butter

- Stressed out about getting ready for some reason.

Plan: 8:30pm: #1 birthday gathering: savory pies/beers place - soda water [Yup.]

Plan: 10:30pm: #2 birthday gathering: old man/hipster bar - more soda water [Yup.]

1:45am: @ home: 2 roasted brussels sprouts + butter

- I'm pretty happy that I was able to limit myself here.

2:30am: @ home: LOTS of sesame seeds + butter + lemon pepper
