Yes - all meat and fish, eggs, vegetables, fats/oils, coffee/tea, coconut/nut milks
Limit - beets, butternut squash, pumpkin, nuts/seeds (only raw), sweet/white potatoes, winter squash (acorn, delicata, kabocha), fruit, dairy, alcohol
No - refined sugars, all grains, beans, refined carbohydrates, juice, rice/oat milks, soda, soy, bottled dressing, corn
Eating a bunch of food, even the good-for-me kinds, is still eating a lot of food.
I really look forward to getting into my normal way of eating again. Sugar is such a poison to my body. There is a lot of undoing to be done this week.
As usual, a BUSY work day.
20-minute post-dinner walk home
8:30am: black coffee, LOTS of water
- My body has a lot of cleaning up to do.
10:30am: 3 raw brazil nuts
2:15pm: small piece baked salmon, 1/4 baked sweet potato, salad: baby romaine, micro-greens, red onion, bell pepper, balsamic/o.o.
8pm: couple sips miso soup, couple bites bare iceberg lettuce, 1 salmon skin hand roll, broiled mackerel, <1 cup white rice, raw shredded cabbage
- I was REALLY craving fish + vegetables. And I didn't have food waiting for me at home. I found a Japanese restaurant and it was perfect. I love it when food does not disappoint me. The mackerel was amazing and no sauces were involved.
10:45pm: 10 raw macadamia nuts, and then spoons of almond butter/sun butter/pili nut butter, handful raw pistachios
- Regrettable. I threw my nut butters away.
