Goal
I want to lose 5-10 pounds that I've gradually gained back after losing them a couple years ago.

THE SIMPLE TRUTH ABOUT SALT
Many of us could significantly improve our health by merely stopping the habit of sprinkling salt on our food. Salt is a leading cause of hypertension, kidney failure, and stroke in people who are sensitive to sodium. And processed foods already contain more salt than anyone needs.

Will you miss salt? Maybe for a few days, but most people say it's surprising how soon they began to prefer unsalted food.

(If you're a parent, take note: some studies suggest that children deprived of salt develop a life-long craving for the mineral. So don't limit the kids' intake, just yours.)
