My Goal:
To l achieve my intermediate goal of 150 lbs by Dec 1 2014 and my long term goal of 145 by March 2015.. Realistic. Slow but sure.....

About me:
I am a 72 year old college teacher, with a wonderful husband who is a great cook. I have been weight conscious since I was 13, but managed to stay between the top edge of normal and below obese range until my 50s. I am a fallen-away lifetime weightwatcher and a relapsed Carbyhydrate Addict. I rejoined Weight Watchers (after around 15 years lapse) and regained my lifetime status after FOUR years of gradual, little by little losses and lots of plateaus. I am so happy to be just under "overweight", and want to lose 5 more lbs, gradually. So far, my weight loss is 40 lbs, and jeans went from tight 16s to roomy 10s.

Diets I like:
I do believe that carbs set me off, so I think I should avoid non-complex carbs. I lost weight well at weight-watchers when they featured the lo fat, high fiber diet.

Workout of choice:
Curves, I am pretty faithful to. I should also be walking regularly, but have failed to do it regularly for years. And, I should lift free weights. I have lots of them; took a class several years ago. Go up 2-3 flights of stairs multiple times a day.

My plan:
1. Be mindful of what I am eating and when. 2. Be faithful in posting Boomer Babes. 3. Stay with the Curves schedule of 12 times per month. 4. Start lifting weights, startting with just 15 min 3 x week. 5. Walk! Try to do it at least 120 minutes per week to start. 6. Stay with WW, earn and maintain lifetime status again.

I need the most help with:
Motivation, and not getting overwhelmed with work and stress. I tend to "feed" my stress.
