105 lbs gone!

My Goal:
I want to feel healthy and slender. I don't think I'll ever be skinny, and that's okay. The important thing is to feel good about myself.

This week's goals:
1. Exercise 3 times
2. No beef



About me:
I'm 31 years old, from Kansas, and my starting weight is 286 lbs. I lost 105 lbs. in 2007-08 and started running. I even ran a marathon. After the marathon training ended, I was exhausted and didn't want to run anymore. My "break from fitness" turned into a year of total gluttony, and I gained back 126 lbs. in a little over a year. Now I'm starting over, and I'm going to take the lessons I've learned and do things a little differently this time.


Diets I like:
No fads or gimmicks- just old fashioned sensible eating and exercise.


Workout of choice:
Walking and weight training.


My plan:
Small weekly goals not based on the number on the scale.
