I am a proud mother of 4 children ages 23, 20, 19 and 10. My business is a Taxi Service in the Rutland area of Vermont which is thriving. There are a few characteristics that I am proud of; a pure drive to be the best, honesty, blunt and to the point is my nature, kind and empathetic to every person.

I am trying to make it work here, we are a bit home sick and I feel like I emotional eat at night.


I gave birth to a very healthy 7 lb 10 oz baby boy on January 2, 2012. He is the light of my life right now and keeps me very much on my toes.

I'm a health nut who works out enough, but I've got a hideously slow metabolism and joint problems. So I have to limit my exercise to cardio that doesn't hurt and lifting. My biggest problems are sweets, overeating, and the 'special occasions' that pop up seemingly a few times a week. I have a problem with exercising. On the day when I exercise a lot, I usually don't lose weight until the following day. Particularly if I don't exercise that next day. It's frustrating because it's hard to motivate myself. And sometimes I don't lose weight for days. It's easier to not work out. But I want to look muscular... ???

I'm in my late 20's and my metabolism ain't what she used to be and I've been gaining weight for the last 2-3 years; however, this year has been a big weight gain year. I joined Weight Watchers about a month ago and have lost 4lbs, which is awesome. But, I'd like to be losing at minimum 1lb/week, ideally 2.

She was very religious, very devoted to God. She always told me how important it is to get right with God. Sadly I ignored it. Even when she was on the death bed (I didn't know she was that close to death at the time - she was stage four when they found it and I wasn't told until a week before my birthday - May 17) I wish I would have listened. I am now right with God in every way that I should be. I just wish she could have been here for this. (btw I look just like her :))

A few years after my second child I started gaining weight and topped at 225lb....couldn't understand why I could not take it off but later found out I suffered with thyroid problems which added to the problem. After I started treating this I started to loose the weight again but am stuck at 185.





I started to gain weight when I started the Depo Shot for birth control. It added 60 pounds on me when I was 170 pounds. I have gone downhill, and tried many times to lose weight. This time I am determined and have even set up a reward program for myself.





I love motorcycles - I do most of my own maintenance on my bikes, I ride both street and track, and hope to get into road racing in the near future. I also love animals, have a retired horse, dogs, cats, etc.

That was the last straw. I decided to do something. that was two months ago. Since then, I have lost about 15 lbs and still going.

I have had both hips replaced and while I was incapacitated with my hips I gained about 6kg a year resulting in a gain of 40+ kg before I had my hips fixed. After a great birthday and Mother's Day week, I'm ready to lose about 15 pounds. I've been conscious of my weight for the last 15 years, since giving birth to my son.
