I'm 60, fairly healthy. I work very early morning hours


I'm 52, working mom and wife. Our 4 children are young adults now living their wonderful lives, it's just my hubby and I most days. I love my job in the advertisement industry. Enjoy renovating our home, going to the movies, swimming, dancing and traveling.























I am 43 years old and have been overweight most of my life. I am a martied mom of 3 boys 2 of which are married and live in Michigan. I also have 3 grandchildren. I had an car accident on May 2nd of 2011, and received a shattered right tibia and broken fibula, as well as a dislocated left hip. The dislocation resulted in needing a hip replacement, which didnt get done for a year. Needless to say I was at lo mobility the entire time. I have managed to lose about 20 of the 30 lbs I gained, but I really have to get more off to prolong a hip revision as well as decreasing my pain. I am having a real hard time starting a regimen.

















I am 56 years young I have been trying to loose 10 lbs for over a year. I have to be on a gluten free diet and because of that it has been very difficult to loose weight. I also have an in curable sweet tooth and I have NO will power when it comes to chips and crackers that I can eat.
























































Entering 60th year so I have to improve health now. Menopause has given me a thick middle which I never had to contend with before. Haven't eaten beef/poultry/pork in almost 40 years but want to eliminate dairy and seafood.

I am 24, and last year I lost about 30 pounds. I was chunky as a child, but I've always been athletic and have been improving myself for the past 8 or so years. I was at my lowest weight last fall and my struggle now is to maintain that. I wasn't eating well at the time, and since I actually have an adequate caloric intake now, I have gained a few pounds back. I accept that, but now I need help controlling what I eat so that I do not over eat and gain that weight back. I am hoping this program will give a better plan to follow rather than taking each day blindly, and counting calories.

Hi I am a 46 year old mother of a 5 year old and currently a education director for a NGO. I lost weight 3 years ago and became really fit but then broke a rib and gave up...literally gave up. I did a boot camp last year and completed it but was horrified at myselff. Now, a year later, heavier and out of shape more than ever, I went to the doctor in Feb 21012 and he prescribed 7 meds, lifelong for COPD, asma, etc. So, I chucked the meds in March 2013 and started a 30 day juice fast to kick my health back in! Goal accomplished! OH yes, and even as a Librarian and lifelong teacher, I am horrib-le typist, sorry. I get really motivated and then as soon as I start seeing results or start feeling better I tend to sabotage myself.(Point in fact, right after my blood tests and clear lungs, I stopped my juice fast..and ate EVERYTHING again!) I do well with mini goals and support AND accountability. When I was working with a trainer threee years ago and at my best physically in ten years, I used to receive daily and often hourly texts from him and it was enough to keep me going. Although guilt is my biggest motivator and I hope to get to a place where JOY replaces the guilt, Still working on the guilt and the feeling of entitlement!

My name is Malaz Elamin and i'm 16 years old and i go to high school. I weigh 155 lbs. I've been over weighted my in my past when i was about 13 to 14 years old. I'm 21 and in college. I've been trying to lose weight since I was 10 years old. Never been overweigth, but always wanted to lose some. I've been on a calorie diet and two times on a protein diet. All of them were effective: I reached my ideal weight rather quickly. The hard thing was to keep it off, which I never succeeded in.

I'm 54 and a single mom. I homeschool my two teens & I'm in school myself to be a court reporter. About 3 years ago, the first year after my marriage ended, I packed on 40 lbs in just one year! I've been struggling ever since to get rid of it.





I am a divorced mom of a 20 year old daughter who lives far away in California and a 15 year old son who is with me most of the time. I have been moderately overweight my whole life. I weigh about 199 right now. I had stabilized at about 175 for several years, but then when I got divorced, I stopped exercising. I suppose I ate a little more comfort food too. In the last 8 years or so, I learned to listen to my body much better as far as hunger signals go, but I still give in to emotional eating, particularly when I'm tired. I have been a poor example for my son lately, being lazy with food preparation and "rewarding" both of us with unhealthy foods. And since moving my mother near me 18 months ago, I'm acutely aware of what my future holds if I don't take charge of my health. I also have a boyfriend who has multiple sclerosis, and I'm very interested in the possible relationship between food intolerance and autoimmune diseases. So.....for me and my guys, I'm ready to make some changes.

I'm a 27 year old female who lives in Loveland, OH. I currently work in Marketing for a flavor company and have trouble finding balance in my life. I'm working towards it, but stress and boredom/unhappiness seem to be my struggles. I've lost about 25 pounds by eating healthier alternatives, but have phases where I will eat because I'm stressed out or struggling with boredom or unhappiness. Plus I just happen to love food. :) I've also tried the JJ Virgin diet, with success, but have trouble envisioning it as an eating plan for life. My muffin top/belly is my trouble area - I can't remember the last time this was totally flat and I often get discouraged when trying to lose weight here. I love music, reading, movies/TV shows, the outdoors, fitness, animals and anything cute/funny/quirky. I also love video games and comics. My name is Yasmin, I live in NJ and have lived here all my life. I'm married to a man I absolutely adore, and we love each other more and more with each passing year. Prior to meeting my husband I was in a really stressful relationship that ended in failure... I would have to say the only positive part about the stress of that relationship was that I was able to maintain a steady weight of 135-140 lbs for 3 years straight. (Naturally as a young girl in her early 20's surrounded by constant peer pressure and the desire to fit into the ideal image, I still though I was overweight.) Shortly after that relationship had ended I had a little breakup weight gain but I was for the most part happy with myself. I still had my hopes and dreams and a job i loved... But shortly after I had gotten into a pretty bad car accident which took a toll on my weight. A Few months later i met Sebastian, and he loved me just the way I am. I was content at 155 lbs when I met my husband because he appreciates me and loves the person i am on the inside. All was great when i lost my job and it all went downhill from there. I got so depressed and disappointed in life and in myself that I stopped caring about everything. I had reach an all time low, and i don't know how to get out of it now. I believe in God. And i know all things are possible with his help but i just don't have any motivation lately. My husband says if i am happy he is happy. I need to do this for me. I need to regain control... i just need a boost... and i know i can do it!

I have been an on again off again athlete my whole life and 6 months ago I joined a cross fit gym and have been doing crazy stuff since then. Two years ago I was in the best shape I have ever been. I was fit and I was happy and confident in my skin for the first time ever. I walked daily, did spin classes a couple a days a week and did body pump 2 to 3 days a week and then I went back to work and all of that came to an end. I also have back problems that seemed to get worse after stopping exercise and as they got worse my doctor suggested epidural injections to help cope with the pain. At this point I was exercising again, running and going to the gym but the weight just kept coming. I would get so frustrated I would quit even though I enjoyed working out. This has been the pattern for the last year. I get so frustrated I can't stand it. I also have hypothyroidism which my doctor says is under control. I had issues with my vitamin D levels being low and then it was my iron that was low. I am tired all of the time and have very little energy after going to the gym in the morning. It is crazy. The final straw for me was doing a fitness challenge recentlyand not losing a single pound or inch in 10 weeks. At this point I know there is something wrong so I am excited to start this cleanse to see if it makes a difference.

Currently, I have been doing a 80/20, well more like 60/40 Paleo diet. This is my diet of choice, so I don't want people telling me that it is not right. I am overwight, have lost approximately 25lbs in 11 weeks- not great I know, but overall I have probably shifted around 4 stone. I have been up and down, trying different diets including weight watchers and slimming world. Came off but it isn't a sustainable lifestyle. Plus I worry about all the chemicals that are in abundance in these types of diets. I prefer fresh, non-chemically enhanced food on a daily basis, but extremely partial to cheating- if I am honest.I do boxing training twice a week and am currently training for a 5k run for charity.
