I am a 55yrs young professional with 2 children and 5 grandchildren





I am a wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 9. My two biological children are grown, but we just requested and received custody of a 13 year old from my school. I love God and my family. I am the instructional technology specialist at a middle school.


I'm now almost 58 -- I want to get healthier, eat cleaner, need to exercise more and want to check in often with like-minded people who talk about the healthy lifestyle.





I'm 29 years old, and I've been struggling with my weight since college. I've tried various diets, and I've been temporarily successful in the past, but nothing ever sticks for me. I've gotten down as low as 180, but I always put it back on within a year. I'm going to start trying to get pregnant soon, and I want to be healthy when I do. I've also been noticing more health problems (joint pain, skin issues, lack of energy), and I'm not always able to do all the things that I enjoy or want to do. I want to feel better physically and feel better about myself.


I'm 35 and trying to figure out all this diet stuff without feeling deprived. No kids, just a supportive boyfriend and a needy dog.





51 year old female, having developed gluten sensitivity in the last few years, and recently battled yeast. Taking GI support supplements and learning about detoxing/cleansing as part of therapy to improve my digestion, get my system back in balance and functioning better!





I am a 43 year old woman. I used to be very athletic, then I had my first child at 40 and have gotten out of shape. I want to be back to the level of fitness i was at before baby. I signed up for a half marathon in May! My goal is to run that with ease.








I am 27 and work full time as a paralegal. I have a daughter who will be one on Nov. 17. Since her birth I have lost 10 lbs, but am still far from my goal. I'd really like to lose 90 pounds but would be just as happy with 50.

I am a 54yo woman who is out of control with toxic foods. I let my weight get out of control starting in 2004 when I had an accident that has left me with a spinal cord injury. Since then, my weight has gone up from 130-135 to where I am today. I used to have it all under control because it took me 2 yrs to get from 285 down to 135ish. And then I kept it off for over 6 yrs. and then the accident put me in the hospital and rehab. I lost another 10 lbs of muscle in the hospital because I was so focused on getting back. But when I got home and had to start living again, I started killing myself with the food. So here I am. Wanting to get back to my "fighting weight". Care to help me and let me help you?





27 year old female, looking to heal from the inside out! Working every single day to become emotionally, mentally and physically healthier. Long history of food disorders (within my lifetime, but also for many generations previous to me) - I want to break the long cycle of disordered eating in my family. This is not only to create my own vibrant and healthful relationship with food, but to ensure that my family yet to come no longer has to deal with the same pain and heartache surrounding food, exercise and body image.


I live in the mountains of Colorado and am an empty nester which has proven harder than I ever would of imagined. I work on not being lonely and happy, and am looking for the friends here on PT to be part of my journey!

51 year old woman feeling like I'm in the prime of my life, but have been struggling with excess weight most of my adult life. The past few years I have gone through a divorce and hysterectomy. I gained 22 pounds very quickly.

I am 39.5 years old and a mother of 3 boys that are 9, 15 & 20. I am really nervous approaching 40. I feel achy and not in as good physical shape as I have been most of my life. I feel like the last 6 years have really slowed me down. They have been very stressful at times. I am determined to get into great shape again. I'm hoping that this system will teach me how to eat healthy without feeling like I'm sacrificing everything good to eat. I've also started doing pilates again. The stretching & strengthening exercises have really helped lessen the aches & pains.


I'm an active 58 year old with a stubborn 10-12 pounds that seems to resist going anywhere. I love the outdoors, especially hiking, biking and interesting wines & beers and cooking which of course, may be part of the problem.
