I'm 43, married, busy working mom of 3 kids ages 9, 6 and 31/2. Never had a problem losing my baby weight until I had #3 in 2010. Have struggled ever since to lose 15 lbs and thanks to a brutal winter, now 20 lbs. I work out pretty regularly, but need a diet overhaul and revamped fitness routine. I'm ready!

A highschool student with limited time

I'm over 60, a grandmother of 5, retired with my husband retired, I'm a reader, I play Words with Friends and Canasta on my Nook. I like to walk outside.

I JUST turned 46. I am 5'6'' & I have a young spirit & enjoy life! I just hate my weight now! I'm unmarried and have no children. (Not my choice, just life.) I fluxuate between 243 and 253. I decided to try this plan after looking up points for Weight Watchers for a sandwhich I was eating. Peertrainer popped up. I was hesitant to join. I wanted to join a group who understands what it is like being 200 + pounds and struggling. I belonge to a Weight Watchers @ work group, but it dissovled due to lack of participation. I HATE exercise. I am struggling!

I am a 34yr old wife and mother of 4. I am a homemaker. I homeschool my children. I have always been very active, energetic and outgoing. I never worried about my weight, nor did I have to watch what I ate. I did not believe in dieting, and was always active enough that I had no need for an exercise routine. All of that changed suddenly 4years ago when my world was turned upside down. I unexpectedly became severely fatigued, tired, weak, always cold. all with no explanation from my doctors. No matter how much I exercise, no matter how much I diet, I just kept gaining weight from my normal weight of 150lb to my heaviest of 215lb. Until a month ago, when my doctor finally started me on hypothyroidism treatment. 3wks into treatment and I am finally starting to feel alive again, and am beginning to lose weight.

I'm an ice cream junkie!!

I am 56, married and a mother of two young adults.

mukit rahman

40 something wife and mother. English teacher. Love music and make up.

I am a 67 year old, Grammie of 10. I do yoga 5 times a week. I love my yoga community of friends. I try to do a good cleanse at least once a year, but I also need to lose and keep my weight at a healthy level. I have a long term confirmed sensitivity to dairy and gluten, so my diet discipline is very important.

58 Retired early Hobbies: Quilting, reading and grandkids.

I have been overweight my whole life as an adult. I am 5'2" and I probably weigh 200 lbs.

I am about to turn 52 and have spent my entire life dieting, and hating how I look. Seriously. My husband and grown kids think I look fine, and I am slowly starting to come to that realization myself, but I haven't actually arrived. The time has come ....

54 married no kids, gaining weight, not liking it.

retired. sit A LOT.

62 year old who is in pretty good shape, except for the 'menopause fat' and in good health.

After years of having children, I need to find the "real" me in there again!

58 yr old professional grandmother who has tried every diet ever- successful til menopause took over the tummy!

I'm 52, married with 3 children (22, 20 & 16!). I gained 15 pounds in 2013. I've never been this heavy without giving birth!

I work in an office environment and mostly sit for at least 9 hrs. I have joined other weight loss programs and managed to lose at least 30lbs. My problem is staying till I reach my goal as well as keeping off the weight. I always end up gaining it back. I know what I need to do but then get tired of the same foods and routines that I always go back to my poor eating habits. Would like to be able to get support so that my motivation is always there.

Im 22 years old. I weight 160 and wanba be down to at least 130

I'm married to the best guy ever. I have a wonderful grown son who gave me a sweet and beautiful daughter-in-law. I'm in my 50s and work as an office manager in an accounting firm. It's definitely not the job of my dreams, but it pays the bills and I'm grateful to have it.

I am a 43 year old mom of an active 9 year old daughter, and an RN. I work 25 hours/week, so I should have time to work out and plan healthy eating! I have lost weight with WW before, and also a medically supervised program. I know what to do, but I struggle with consistency, and have realized that I need accountability. So I am hopeful that I can find this with Peertrainer. Our family does a lot of boating in the summer, and I really want to feel better in my board shorts this summer!

Stay at home mom/ biz owner, motivated in everything else but weight loss is my monkey on my back! I am on herbal magic currently and it has taught me about my eating habits or my non eating habits ! 31 down so far now and looking at 20 more . My original.goal date was mid May but I travel a lot and struggle during those times away from my own kitchen.

I am 56 years "young" and have decided to become healthy and fit! I have two beautiful grown daughters, work for a Fortune 100 company and work part time with the creators of Proactive! I love my life and am looking forward to the NEW ME!!!!

43 year old mother of 2 daughters. WW Lifetime member starting over.

I'm 36, i have a career in finances, in a couple, no children and a kind of love- hate relation with exercise. A history of anorexia and bulimia as a teenager and young adult. Recovered, but still struggling with my weight and self-image

Hi - I live in Minnesota, I enjoy outdoor activities, except not when it's cold outside, so it's been tough over the last 6 months!

I live in Houston. I grew up as an active child and also participated in gymnastics. I love swimming now. I hold a bachelor's degree and teach. I am in my mid fifties and have a little problem with blood sugar that would most likely improve if I lost weight. I am also learning to meditate 40 minutes a day which is bringing a lot of peacefulness to my day.

I'm Angie. I'm 40. I'm in the midst of a journey that started at 300 lbs, took me down to 205, then back up to 259, and now I'm working my way back down again. I'm studying to be a health coach and I want to help severely obese women who are on fixed incomes, by offering my services at a sliding scale fee. I want to be someone they can relate to!

I'm 31 years old, 5'4, 160 pounds and I often feel that I use my weight as an excuse for not taking the next steps in my life. I have grit and determination when it comes to my career, but not when it comes to fighting for my personal life. I'm trying to overcome that, I'm taking a big leap and moving to Australia in May. :)

I'm 53, about 5' 7" and living in Albuquerque, NM. Looking to lose some health issues and feel better. I'm currently dealing with chemical sensitivity, chronic fatigue, mild fibromyalsia, hormone imbalance, and inflammation. I have a feeling most of these are connected and will be quelled or eliminated with smarter dietary & movement choices.

I'm a college freshman runner and I absolutely love every minute of it. Running keeps me on a tight schedule and inspires me on days when lethargy or the blues might set in. I want to give as much as I can to my running and hopefully get much more in return.

I am 43 with two teenage kids and working part time.

I have MS and on several meds one of which retains weight

I'm 46 have two grown step sons, a super cute dog and a fabulous husband. I love being outdoors and am enjoying life's journey.

I am 46 years old. I am married and have 2 kids, 6 and 8. I work full time doing night shifts. Over the last year I have put on 10 pounds, most of it this winter. I didn't think my eating habits changed all that much, but I guess they did!

I'm married with two children and just started working full-time last year after working part-time from home since the kids were born. I'm a writer and editor and have written about health and weight loss for 20-plus years. So I know what I need to do. It just has been very difficult for me to do it.

I'm married 17yrs to my high school sweetheart, no children. I'm striving to be my best with my second chance at life. I work full-time as a registered nurse.

I am a full time employee of AON, I am a triathlete-I did my first tri in June. I am a runner and have been for the last 6 years(minus a year for knee surgery), I am an avid reader and like to quilt. I am a mom of two kids(22 & 16) and I have two dogs and two cats. I have been married for 24 years.

59 years old, married with two adult children. I love my work (graphic designer), my wonderful family and my 3-year old Pembroke Corgi. Have been on probably every diet out there with the exception of the REALLY out there plans. Been a lifetime member of WW now for over 10 years and have actually hit goal 3 times. :-) I have always struggled with my weight and am SO TIRED of thinking about food from the moment I wake up till I fall asleep.

I have so much stress this last year, my 5 yr old granddaughter has Leukemia, and the weight creeps on - mostly to the gut. I know how unhealthy it is, so want to kick in a reset on my body that doesn't respond to usually lack of eating. Looking forward to motivation & change. Gotta get unstuck!!!

I am a mom of 2 teenage kids. I love to be outdoors throughout the year, and want to be in shape to take advantage of it all.

Married with Kids and work the night shift and weekends which give little time for "me"! Want to get a healthy and fit lifestyle for good.

Professional IT Director

I'm 5'2", starting at 220lbs. I'm a full time student, single-mom in my early 30s. I don't play sports and I usually spend all my time studying, eating, & sleeping. The weight is slowly increasing and now it needs to stop.

I'm 22 years old and love learning about nutrition. I am ready to change my body and to become more connected with the foods I choose to eat.

I am a working woman that loves life and can always find the silver lining! I enjoy camping with my husband and am the proud mom of 4 cats! (That keeps me busy) I am so looking forward to this summer and getting back in shape.

I'm 53 years old, married for 26 years and have an 18 year old daughter who is off to college in the fall, and a 32 year old stepson. I work full time as a writer, healthcare advocate, speaker and am taking my last class in a certificate program in patient advocacy.

I'm a 64 year old grandmother of eight marvellous grandchildren. I am semi-retired and enjoy the process of lifelong learning.

After an extremely emotionally charged two year period I am a 57 year old with 20 extra pounds that literally will not budge. I have never had a waistline "pudge" before and am NOT A fan!

I'm originally from Puerto Rico but have been living in Jacksonville, FL for the past 25 years. Love outdoor activities!

I am 29 years old and love the outdoors. I'm generally fairly active but somewhat inconsistent. I might go a week without much exercise other than walking and an hour or two of alpine skiing a few days a week, to a few days in a row of more of higher intensity activity whether it's skate skiing, alpine ski touring, mountain biking, or road biking. I am highly interested in functional and integrative medicine. Last summer I went back to school full time in order to pursue a career in this field. I am currently wrapping up prerequisite coursework for accelerated programs to earn a second bachelor's degree in nursing. I will start a program this summer or fall. Ultimately my goal is to be a family nurse practitioner in functional/integrative medicine. I am participating in the cleanse in part to have personal experience in making major dietary changes and view it in part as research, though I know I will benefit from it as well.

I am a mom of 2 kids under 5. My family moved to another province and I am currently a SAHM until September.

I am rapidly approaching 40. I am very unfit and have a hard time keeping up with my 2 daughters (aged 6 and 9). My Dr. has expressed concerns with my weight, and it is time I really work at making some changes.

70+ single woman

My name is Chris. I am a 63 year old divorced mom of two adult children. I am a church organist (United Methodist, former Episcopal), choir director and private music teacher. I have become a seeker of good nutrition ever since surprise colon cancer and surgery in September 2010. Instead of chemo, I did a raw foods diet. Thank God, I have been cancer free for over 3.5 years! Unfortunately I have let myself slip back into some old eating habits, and I am determined to get back on track. My parents lived with me and my kids for several years. Both had pretty severe health problems and have gone on to their heavenly home. Lots of stress in my life with divorce (twice), single mom and caring for aging parents.....plus trying to make ends meet with church job, private teaching, weddings, funerals, etc. Sound familiar, Sarah? :-)

I'm 43 years old and work long hours in a stressful environment as a director of IT engineering in the federal government. Not much time to play or relax or get outside! In the last 10 years I spiraled upwards to a crazy high of 220+ Lbs and it's time to figure out what happened and course-correct!

50 Years young. High energy. Ready to shed these lbs that have been holding me back mentally and physically.

I'm 38 and getting married soon. That, honestly, is my current motivation to lose weight, as cliche as it sounds. And summer's coming. Since I first joined peer trainer a month ago I do feel I've been doing better with diet and exercise. I'm motivated to see results, and continue with a healthy lifestyle into the future. I want to move and see firmness where there is now flab. I need to make this a priority, b/c diet and exercise take a bit of planning and prioritization.

I work at a desk all day in a busy, stressful job. I lack the discipline to exercise before or after work, --which I need to overcome. Tend to snack too much, especially during the evening. I am 6' 6", and currently about 235 lbs. Would like to get to 195, which is the weight I used to be.

I am mid-forties working mom with two teenage daughters and a preteen son. I have taken my body for granted until my digestive system was broken last summer with the total loss of all senses. " Do you not know that your body is the temple for holy spirit?" woke me up and started to pay attention to my life style.

Just retired, 56 years old, married to a wonderful man, we have two boys ages 17 and 19. I have been a Christian for many years but God continually reveals Himself more and more! We have been at a new church for less than a year and are plugging in with ministry and home group.

Taking responsibility

I'm 40 something (closer to 50), my son is leaving for college this fall, I'm 90 lbs over goal weight and I figure it is time for me. Stress is a big factor, I tend to eat my way through it, and it's been a big part of life lately.

24 year old professional/grad student. Need to lose 20lbs. Love to run and workout, but have trouble staying on track.

I am 56 years young starting on the next Phase of life by joining my husband in retirement in a few weeks. Leaving a very high stress job. Love the field of nutrition, have every diet book out there. But struggle with the application of the basic principles for myself.

I am 58 years old. I have been on diets since I was 6 months old! The last few years, I began having food sensitivities to things that had never bothered me before. A year ago, I read JJ Virgin's book, and it changed my life! I lost 40 pounds very quickly, but have been on a plateau for past 6 months. Hope this cleanse will give me the jumpstart I need to start losing again.

Overworked, need more energy and want to stay young looking

Our online ruler that is scaled to exact size allows you to measure anything quickly. We also offer a printable version, if you need to take a ruler with you. http://www.onlinerulerfree.com/

I'm a working mom with 2 awesome kids (7 & 9). I am constantly on the go, and love to be active. I want to do a tri-athlon this summer, but I'm still learning to swim.

I am 63, married with grown children. I am also a registered nurse and still work PRN.

144lbs as of April 24, 2014

I am 73-year-old retired business woman with 3 married children and 6 grandchildren. I don't take any medications and am in good health. I know that my added weight is an issue and this program will set me on a much better path.

Single mother of 3 daughters

I am a stay at home mom. I will be married 25 years in June 2014. We have two young adult boys. (19 and 21).

I am a 58 year old woman. I have a chronic illness that often requires that I have radiation or chemo. I try to be positive at all times and find that even on the worst of days their are moments of joy.

I am 5'9" and about 220. I live in an area of the US where there is little to do unless you travel. I moved here after a divorce and moved here not knowing anyone, so it was just me and my children. I have not made many friends and lack a true support system.

I am a 40 year old stay-at-home mom with two boys, 7 and 5 years old. I have been increasing in clothing size at least 1x per year since I weaned my youngest son. I try to eat healthy but haven't paid a lot of attention to portions or calories. I allow myself regular sugar indulgences and drink a Coke a day to help me get through the day without a nap. I've been struggling with intense fatigue for about 4 years. I've tried to exercise but obviously not enough to lose weight. I recently created a stress fracture in my right ankle while trying to train for a 10k run. Now I'm in a cast and my exercise options are limited. My clothes are telling me that it's time to go up another size but I really don't want to. It's time to deal with this problem!

I am 33 years old, and I am a nurse. I work in a prison. It does make for quite an interesting job! Anyway, I have overweight pretty much my whole life. Right now, I am almost 300 pounds. People tell me I carry my weight very well, and that they would have never guessed I am this heavy. And over all I feel ok. except for my PCOS. And whether my obesity is caused by PCOS, or the other way around, it is killing me! I am sick and tired of the dark patches on my skin, my infertility and the facial hair. Lately it has also been messing my blood sugar up. I need help, so here I am!

Im a 43 year old work at home mom of 3 young children. Im 5'4" and close to 200 pounds. I am very hopeful that this clleanse and support group is what will give me my energy back and the ability to stay the course back to health. Nothing I have tried has succeeded. I feel that this is exactly what I need.

123

I am 5'2" and 220 pounds. I am the grandmother of two beautiful girls. I have been retired for four years but keep busy with church activities and singing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus.

I am 30 year old mother of 3. I have had a history of eating disorders, also a very bad medical history because of endometriosis. I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago, have a hypothyroid, narcolepsy and chronic migraines.

Mom, personal trainer, lover of books.

I'm 55, wife, mother, Nana and RN. Want to lose weight to feel better and hopefully decrease the amt of meds I take

Most importantly I want to get off the sugar roller coaster and feel better about myself. I am currently 172 lbs - only 8 lbs from my heaviest ever - ugh! I need to lose a minimum of 15 lbs, preferably 25. I am bloated, have a 41 inch waist.

I am married with 3 kids, own/operated my own family childcare and have lost my motivation to exercise and track food.

Age 61, I'm a cultural anthropologist I own my own business doing market research. I can take my work wherever I go. I define myself as a culture junkie, involved in classical and world music.

I am a mother of 4 and a wife. I work for a government agency and sit most of the day. I work 5 days a week and commute about 80 miles round trip

I am 53 and an "older mom" who feels plenty young. I have two delightful kids that keep me running (10 and 5 yrs) They have been a joy and a blessing but my body has paid for poor sleep, poor exercise and eating over these last few years. I'm committed to getting healthy and staying healthy...I want to be around for them and my husband for a long, long time!
