I'm male, 42, married with 2 children. I am one of the founders of PEERtrainer.

I'm 49 and my goal is to feel healthy and fit.. I struggle with motivation to exercise. My thyroid fights me contantly so I am trying to figure out the best eating plan that works for my body. I love all vegtables and generally eat healthy. Occasional over do it on chocolate and sweets if within reach. Moderation is not a stregnth. Work in progress...

54 y.o. woman; weight struggles most of life, but lost 100 lbs in high school, so used to be confident I can do it again, now I'm not so sure but must try. Sedentary job, but job permits going to gym, so recently found out about a couple of nearby gyms that are not heavily used.

70, married, work out of my home. As a result of Fresh Start Cleanse and all the tools I've learned decided to get my Real Estate License. I'm excited and energized. Will take my state exam within a month or so.

I've been a yo-yo dieter for 30 years. Ready to get this extra weight off and keep it off!!

55 female trying to learn yoga so I can be stronger and flexible and less stress

I'm married 17yrs to my high school sweetheart, no children. I'm striving to be my best with my second chance at life. I work full-time as a registered nurse.

Out-going, people loving, very happily married, woman. Small business owner (work ridiculous hours). Kids are out of the nest - still can't believe I turned 60 earlier this year (don't really look or feel it). I'm 5/2" short and pear-shaped - have always struggled with trying to get and keep weight off. I'm thankful that I have a positive outlook, and am a hard worker.

48

I am 54 years young. I have gained 35 pounds from where I was in my 20s or even 30s! It's not just a looks thing although that bothers me too. I have some medical problems I am hoping would go away or decrease if I lost weight.

I am a married, 42 year-old father of 2. I have had great success with the Cheat System in the past, but have gotten a bit off track. I am looking to get back on!

I am a 59 year old single mom. I am 5'5" tall and was at my heaviest ever (except when I was pregnant), weighing 152 in October 2009 when I began my weight loss with peertrainer in earnest. I had been "stuck" being overweight for 4 years, since I went through menopause - even though I ate well and exercised 3-4 times a week. Menopause came and went relatively easily, but ever since, I just could not seem to lose weight using any of my "old tricks". I lost the first 12 pounds in less then two months the next 12 pounds by summer of 2010.

I am a 27 year old illustrator and have around 60 pounds to lose. I know what I should do, it's just doing it that's hard! I've had a difficult time losing weight because of stress. I hope joining Peertrainer will help me keep on track.

I'm married and loving my hubs far more than I ever dreamed after 21 years in relationship with him. We have a 10 year old and an 8 year old. I am the middle child from a family of 5 kids. I'm really close to my family. Enjoy learning, reading, running, bike rides, Mexican food, teaching, and spending time with my loved ones (not in order lol).

I'm fifty-can't-believe-it-3! I'm still 29 at heart, but my body feels much older. Have osteo-arthritis everywhere...severe in my knees and shoulders. Doctors said pain would decrease substantially with weight loss...have not found that to be true. Thinking now that maybe its toxins and poor food choices in general that cause my pain...hope the cleanse makes a difference.

38 year old female. I've always eaten a diet of whole foods and have vegetables in most meals and healthy fats and proteins. And I drink a ton of water. But I've also developed some bad habits, such ~2 glasses of wine a day, overeating wheat when I have it, dependence on having diary in most meals.

I am 53 and an "older mom" who feels plenty young. I have two delightful kids that keep me running (10 and 5 yrs) They have been a joy and a blessing but my body has paid for poor sleep, poor exercise and eating over these last few years. I'm committed to getting healthy and staying healthy...I want to be around for them and my husband for a long, long time!

58. Married. 2 daughters in their early 20's. I love health and fitness! I love to cook healthy meals. My obsession with food is the thing I need help with. I'm hoping accountability with help on that journey.

I am 40 something, single and work in the food and wine industry. I am constantly around food which makes trying to loose weight that much harder for me. A lot of changes at work in the past 6 months have resulted in a temendous amount of stress for me which has caused me to fall back into some bad eating habits and turn to food. Once and for all I want to learn how to deal with stressful situations without turning to food.

I am 55, a fitness professional and personal trainer, married 30 years and the mother of 3 grown sons. The one thing I have learned over the years is that it's more about the food than the exercise!

I am 48 years old and have been working on gaining control over food. I underwent a gastric bypass in 2002 and lost nearly 200 lbs. Since getting married six years ago, I've slowly put back on 30 lbs.

Time to end the weight struggle once and for all.

I am 55 years old, have a husband, step son 20 and a nine year old granddaughter who live with me. I have health issues, spinal stenosis and arthritis, leg and foot pain, stress and anxiety from having a family member who I take care of who has bipolar disorder. I work full-time for government agency, am able to telework 3 days a week due my disability. I have two other adult sons. I think pain from disability also makes me eat and drink too much and my stress is out of control with my daughter who has bipolar disorder, (I know I need to meditate daily, now to find the motivation do commit and do so) Want to always make my emotional and physical pain be eliminated or suppressed with food and drink rather than find alternative coping mechanisms. I am learnimg more through reading about counseling methods that can help with alternative coping methods and plan to begin counseling sessions.

Happily married with two teenagers. Working full-time for the State of Oregon as a Human Resource Analyst.

I have about 60 lbs to lose. I have been yoyo dieting for years. Ended up with a sensitivity to soy, among other things. I am doing JJ virgins clease (started yesterday). I did 21 days just before Christmas and felt awesome. Took a break during the holidays and my daughters wedding; can't wait to get back on.

I'm 47, work at home mum of a 4 yr-old. I used to be fit and healthy pre-child and then somehow forgot about my needs in this new family dynamic. It's been 4 years and I'm so ready to get back to feeling like myself and wearing my usual clothes! I did get there last year, for a little while with JJ, but LIFE got in the way and I didn't stick to it.

I am 59 years old and work full time. I have a husband and two kids. My oldest just finished his freshman year in college and is home for the summer.

59 year old clinical psychologist, with hypertension, high cholesterol and a wicked sweet tooth. Just finished two weeks of the JJ Virgin cleanse and want to use that momentum to keep going! I have achieved so much in my life but the food and exercise, a constant struggle

I am a 45 year old working mom with 2 young kids who I adore.

I'm 52 years old stay at home mom. I have 4 children with 2 of them (girls) still living with me and my wonderful husband. My husband is retired after 26 years in the US Air Force. Civilian life take much to get used to ...have been doing it for 4 years. now.

51 years old. Hypothyroid and Addisonian (adrenals don't work). Have to take steroids every day which makes it very difficult to lose weight. I have 2 snow dogs (husky & American Eskimo) so take them out for walks/runs daily. Ride my bike in the warmer months for exercise.

I'm 39 and live with my husband and 8 yr old daughter. She is really the inspiration for my taking care of myself. I have battled my weight since the 2nd grade and even though I have been at a healthy weight since the middle of college; it is always something I think about.

I am 49 and have two boys - 11 and 8. I have been married and have lived in RI for almost 15 years. I have been working from home for the past 8 years. I was super active prior to getting married - ran in a couple marathons, dance classes, biking. I even took 25 mile bike rides until I was 7 months pregnant!! After my 2nd little guy came along can't seem to lose more then 5 or ten pounds - and then the dreaded winter comes!!

53 years old - homemaker -3 near adult kids - travel frequently

I love God, my awesome family, financial planning, and food:-) Food has become my drug of choice whether I am stressed or wanting to relax and enjoy life. God is not pleased with this area of my life, nor am I.
