I've lost almost 30 pounds. ******UPDATE - I've lost almost 40 pounds! 165 to 126. Took almost 3 years. *** Feel free to read my daily notes for tips on using this site, and for other helpful ideas to help you with your weightloss and fitness journey. Let me know your thoughts!

i've never been thin and to be honest I'm not sure I want to be skinny but I do wnat to be fit and healthy. I work in the food industry and have to taste yummy food all the time (the 1st teaspoon is all thats allowed). i have no self control and can make things vv unhealthy without even trying

I am a 30 year-old woman who has always tended towards the overweight. As a young woman I lost weight by dieting (weightwatchers, etc), but of course it all went back on again. The only thing that really works for me is exercise and lots of it, but I am rubbish at prioritising my time to make space for it. I started out at 85 kilos and 31% fat. I need to get to 25% fat. I'm not bothered about weight as I am generally muscular and have a medium frame.

Mom of two little girls. No time to workout it seems! I'm a writer and I work from home. Husband is fantastic except he has massive food issues so gives me limited support.

I'm 45 and married - no children Working architectural technician - therefore stuck at a PC all day I machine and hand piece quilts and also do stitcheries - my way of unwinding (and keeping away from snacks)

I'm 22,   I moved to Dubai from the UK 8 months ago.  I was already in pretty bad shape,  but the life style out here has caused me to put on an additional 14 pounds since I've been here.  Once i get into a habit of working out i really enjoy it.  I like dancing, going out with friends, and generally having a good time.

I'm 51 years old and danced the scalesr years. Lost 16 lbs in 12 months following bereavement. Unexpectedly met my beloved Mac and now we are to marry. Grown my finger nails after being a biter for 50 years!

Im 32 a mum to 4 and i live in the new forest we have a labrador who is a dream and of course my gorgeous bf to lol I work p/t as a carer in the communuty ..

25 from England
Lost 70 pounds on Weightwatchers four years ago
Put on 105 since!

I'm 34 year old man, live with my fiancée and 3 year old daughter. I'm a registered health professional, currently working in social care management. I've been a strict veggie since I was 10 (and did about 7 years as a vegan during my late teens/ early 20's).

Im 34 and live in Bristol with my partner and 6 guinea pigs - all of whom I adore, but dont ask me to put them in any order! I love food. I love food. I love food. And wine, and beer. Oh and I have been eating exactly the same portion size as my 6'4'' man. Im 5'7''.... yes im proof that dosent work. I have gained 14lb year on year since we met. Hobbies include landscape painting, architecture, walking, camping and lots of books! I weigh 178lb and need to get to 143lb - thats 35lb to loose.

I'm 23 and work in retail. Although i have a horse i'm not your classic slim well shaped horse rider you usually see. I'm a bit of a short podgy woman who doesn't look so good in a pair of jodhpurs (Infact i prefer to ride in combats lol).

I'm 50. Married with a son and daughter. 2nd grandson is due any day. I can lose weight when I get my mind set but struggle to keep it off as I comfort eat and become too tired to exercise. Doesn't help that I'm a cook in a coffee shop and I have a sweet tooth.

I'm 37, married with 2 children. I've been slowly putting weight on for many years, I lost a lot of weight about 8 years ago on weight watchers but I then had my daughter and I currently weigh 180lbs which is almost as heavy as I was when I was pregnant.

I'm 23 and I want to lose 10 pounds. But mostly I want to have my dream body (the one all female celebrities have) and to do this I need to tone up. Toning up will be a harder task than losing the pounds! I think my failure in the past has been not having support and not making promises to people. Writing in a forum and promising people that you're exercising etc. is what I've been missing in the past. I think these things will help me succeed now.

I am quite active but I eat a lot when I get stressed, which happens a lot in my situation.
