My name is Andrew and I am 40yrs young. I live in Monte Carlo the playground of the rich and famous (I am of course neither). Various issues resulted in me gaining 45lbs and therefore in April 2006 I decided to take up cycling and in September 2006 I gave up drinking and started to make better food choices. I managed to lose a total of 40lbs.....but somehow.... 12lbs have crept back on since Christmas 2007. I need the strength to lose the final weight (never reached my ideal weight) and stay there......reached first objective with 5kg lost and only 5kg to go, hopefully the spotlight will help me to lose 3kg more!!

I joined Peertrainer in May 2006 and have found it to be the most helpful tool I have ever used in my lifelong quest to lose weight. I have never stuck with a program this long before, and I am sure that is why I have been successful! Yet I have had a few setbacks lately and want to get motivated once again. I love this site, and the people I have met here! I plan to stay and keep the motivation going. I find it the most helpful way of maintaining where I want to be.. Thanks PT!!

I'm a 35 year old attorney who is being healed from PCOS, hypothyroid, fibromyalgia, and CFS. I have had hormonal issues in the past that caused me to gain lots of weight, but I am currently undergoing a holistic-based approach to heal my body completely and the weight is melting off as my body seeks to reach its perfect weight. I now have the energy to work out every day, have little or no pain, and feel amazing!! (I'm calling things that are not as though they are. I try to live by that)

I love to exercise, but have a difficult time maintaining it. I suppose I am the queen of on and off the work out regimen.
I like to do things that are fun and keep me interested..I am on maternity leave till December so I would like to take advantage of my time at home till I go back to work. I have a 4-year-old daughter and am married to my sweetheart. I love to read, go to the mall, watch movies, and try new hobbies.

I am a 20 year old college sophomore. I am a dancer and love everything about it. Mostly Jazz and lyrical. I am on my college's dance company which has motivated me to stay away from the unhealthy college lifestyle and get on the path to my dance body.

Hi. My name is Linda. I am 47 and live in Kentucky. I am married and have 2 children. My daughter is 26 and my son is 24. I work full time in sales .
I was a healthy weight when I was in my early 20's, then I had children. The 60 pounds I gained with them has been lost and regained a dozen times over the years! I am so sick of it all!
For the most part, I am very healthy. I've had very bad arthritis in both knees for many years. This has kept me from exercising, and I think contributed to the extra pounds I kept carrying around with me. I had my left knee replaced on February 28, 2007. Thanks to WW and PT, after that I lost nearly 40 pounds before my right knee replacement on December 5, 2007 . Now I have no excuse. I need to get my butt moving and get rid of the rest of this extra baggage!!

I've been doing PT since January, 2007 and determined to stick with this and make it to a place physically where I feel good and look good. I'm not sure what that looks like yet or what that weight will be. I am still struggling with doing the daily exercise as life's eternal stressors grab me by the butt sometimes. What is GOOD is that I have gone from mindless eating to being more and more aware and conscious of what I put in my mouth! I have turned a lot of unhealthy eating habits around. I'm exercising more - still not as much as I'd like but I am feeling much stronger and have muscles where I haven't had them - in a very long time!
I'm a single mom of a 17 year old daughter who has also lost a lot of weight in the past year and 1/2. In fact, it was her that got me off my butt and working on my own weight loss journey. She has lost at this point about 65 pounds and she continues to get more in shape with physical exercise, dancing and sports. I'm a proud mom and recently she commented that she is proud of ME for making changes for myself.

52 years old. Finally finding time to work on myself. Have a beautiful 25 year old daughter who lives in New York and I miss her tremendously. I have neuropathy in my feet but I try not to let it stop me.
I have been on this journey for awhile now, been frustrated, elated, and depressed all at the same time.
I am in better health, shape, frame of mind, and more energized than I was when I started. It is true if you do something for 2 weeks it becomes habit. Starting to see a difference in my shape but would like to see more of a difference in the scale. I know in my head that MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT but it is still hard when you get on the scale and it stays the same all the time.... I seem to have a reached a point of good attitude right now, hopefully I can keep this attitude up and I will reach my goal this year. I look at food as fuel for my body now not for comfort.
