Goals: For three years now, this is a team that always has a solid core of active members who never quit. We provide advice, information, encouragement, and yes, some kicks in the asses (we have ALL gotten them; and they were necessary). We strive to keep participation up and join in key players in a pair of other teams on this site. We are not focused on any particular goal other than that people develop the daily and weekly habit they already KNOW are what is needed to lead them eventually to their long-term goal weight.

Profile: One of the few continuously most active, supportive, comfy teams, long the highest page-number-of-contents-per-month team, attesting to participation, we often start up multiple challenges and threads for people to participate in to keep up motivation and help drive success in our teammates' lives. The main one is the weekly weigh-in, patterned after the weigh-in on NBC's "The Biggest Loser," where everyone strives to be one of ones who lost the highest percentage of their previous week's weight, earning pats on the back, and avoid being one of those who loss little to none, or even gained, for whom people will give as much help as they can. Other items will soon include a weekly walkthrough of the Beck Diet Solution, which is not itself a diet but rather a tool to change your way of thinking about fitness and weight loss, to move you past the means of mental self-sabotage in which we all, unfortunately, engage in as part of being human. Many of our members will follow each season of "The Biggest Loser" on NBC, and over the summer are watching "Extreme Weight Loss" on ABC, and we invite people to open up threads to discuss those shows. Many of our members follow a Fit for Life diet; others just count caloreis; some do Weight Watchers. Everything is supported here!

Other Info: Our weekly weigh-in challenge, and others, can be found under the "community" tab of our team page. There is no set date during the week to weigh-in; just make sure you try to be consisten as to the day of the week.

I have many hormonal problems that make losing weight in credibly difficult, so I need as much help as I can get! I work in an office and sit around pretty much all day long. Because of my health issues, 2-3 days of the week I feel pretty lethargic and exhausted, so exercising is difficult. I just need to find something that works!
