My Goal:
I need to lose 50 pounds, and maintain that weight loss. That would get me to 150 pounds -- so there, now you know, I weigh 200 pounds. When I got married 30 years ago, I weighed 135 or 140. I think 150 would be perfect for me.

Goal Weight: 150
Goal BMI: 24.9
Goal Waist Measurement: 35

Remember: How LITTLE can I eat to see me through the next two to three hours?

About me:
I am 54, I'm 5'5" tall, Lutheran, married for 30 years, and weighed an astonishing 220 pounds in December 2010 and even got up to 225 by May of 2012. I've taken off 25 pounds so far... but still need to lose a lot more. I work for Walt Disney World Co. as an analyst in the Information Technology area. It's a fun job, and the people are great. We are encouraged to keep fit, and the company does do a good job of supporting us.

Diets I like:
I don't like any diets, really. What I want to do is find foods to eat that will fill me and then pay attention to the "I'm Full" signals that my body sends to my brains and then stop eating! The basic thing is, choose the good foods, and they will take good care of you. Mother was right, you ARE what you EAT.

Workout of choice:
I go to the gym at least 3 mornings a week from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. I'll say this much, I have been good about getting into my exercise routine. I need to find more exercise at home and get in the pool more often. I have a Wii Fit, so that is fun to do, and I just need to get back going on it. Also I have workout and yoga videos. I was into them for a while, and now need to get back into it.

My plan:
Eat right, exercise, and watch the pounds fall off. Repeat.

I need the most help with:
Does drinking water help? Strategies for dealing with hunger. The book has a few...maybe it's just a bunch of small meals throughout the day.

Additional Info:
I hope that I can help you as much as you can help me!
