My goal is to get healthy again. I used to run half marathons but I hurt my back 2 years ago, so I can no longer run. Instead of running, I plan to lose my weight by doing other forms of exercising like weight lifting, riding my bike, walking on the treadmill, and go swimming in the local pool. I also need to focus on overhauling my eating and not being such an emotional eater.
Today, I took my first step towards getting healthy. Despite still being sick and being cold outside, I broke out the Tai Chi Dvd and did it twice. It had a beginner's workout and an upper body workout and I went ahead and did both. I know it isn't much but at least it is something and I'm moving, that was my goal for today :)
Tai-Chi workout Dvd at home. I did both sides of the dvd, one with just the movements (the beginner's workout) and the one with a one pound ball of sand (upper body workout),
2 eggs, 1 slice of whole grain toast, 1 turkey sausage, coffee.
1 bowl of Special K Almond Vanilla cereal.
