Upcoming running events:
8/1 & 8/2: Trophy Race 5k (Denver) and Rocky Mountain Half Marathon (Estes Park), Colorado
8/30: Heartland Half Marathon, Jasper, IN
9/1: (thinking about) a 5K and 10K in TN
9/27: (thinking about) a half marathon in TN
Fall, a couple of marathons and half marathons TBD
New Years Eve and Day (thinking about) a 10k in NV, a 5k in AZ
1/11/15: Disney Marathon, FL

Done:
35 5ks in 18 states
19 10ks in 15 states
25 half marathons in 18 states
27 marathons in 27 states
(13 State "Bingos")


my notes


workout
I hope to get away for a short run to get acclimated to 8,000 feet. Other than that, just walking my mom around slowly. She gets winded easily with this altitude.


breakfast
It's a huge buffet, and it's included in the price, so I always do terrible at things like this. Way too much food!


lunch
Lunch was a little better -- a soup and salad bar. Still too many calories, but not as bad.


snacks
This little soda fountain had homemade root beer, so we had to have a root beer float. One million calories. Here is my mom again.


dinner
I took one plate instead of a separate salad bowl, and I loaded most of the plate up with salad, so that helped. Still a lot, plus I had a very small piece of cheesecake for dessert.
