I am doing a "Lose the Bird" challenge (Lose weight equal to the weight of your Thanksgiving turkey). My goal is to lose that last 13 lbs, and I'm giving myself 130 days (Oct. 14, 2015 through Feb.21, 2016). That is 1 lb every 10 days, which will require a calorie deficit of 800 per day.

I was emotionally exhausted after thinking my cat was going to die, and then finding out it was not a heart condition after all! Now we'll go forward knowing she has asthma. I can handle that. After our sudden trip back to the vet yesterday, I did very little except hold her, and then I ordered in pizza and wings. Not good for my weight loss efforts, I know! I'll start over tomorrow with fresh groceries. Back to work today. Tripod is doing better. It's good to see her eating again.
