Goal
I want to stay under 150, and preferably under 140. I'm still chipping away at my 50 state running project. Now the travel is getting to be the most challenging part.

September: a 5k and a marathon in Montana
November: a 5k and a marathon in New Hampshire
January 2017: a 5k or 10k and a marathon in Nevada

Running Events Done:
37 5ks in 20 states
25 10ks in 20 states
32 half marathons in 25 states
28 marathons in 28 states
(17 State "Bingos")

my notes
Loved seeing the lower scale reading today!

I kept a calorie deficit yesterday despite eating takeout (Subway, including 3 cookies!) and having a high stress event. I failed one of the tests I took yesterday. It's not the end of the world, just embarrassing, and it can happen to anyone, especially someone who is going through a divorce that week and didn't have access to information to prepare for the test. I got there and found out it was not what I had been told it would be. So on Monday, I will go for a review session and re-take that part of the test. I'm not worried, but I'll be on my toes, because I think that failing again would mean I lose my job! Fortunately, it's not rocket science, and as long as I cover everything, I should pass. (I passed the more difficult tests, and I did perfectly on the practice test - just missed something on the actual test.) Just more stress I don't need. The really stupid part of it is that I am being tested on a procedure that I have never, ever had to do on the job, and probably never will!

Several bright sides to this: 1) I'm not allowed to do bag checks until I pass the retest, and bag checks are one of my least favorite things to do on the job. 2) I get to go in early on Monday, and therefore get paid more. I'm all about maximizing my income right now! 3) I have a pro & con list of this job, so that I can keep an eye on other employment opportunities, and although these periodic tests are definitely on the con side, the pros still outweigh the cons.

Going to the grocery store this morning so that I don't have to eat Subway again. My sandwiches are much better, and I actually miss the huge baggie of veggies that I normally eat!
