Hello Sandy, you dont know me. i clicked on your log as a result of an email from peertrainer. Not sure why i picked yours but i found it very helpful. I note though that you just stopped logging when you were 20 pounds aaway from your goal. i hope that you are okay and still going strong :) I am from Palmerston North in New Zealand and have lost a miserable 8 pounds in the last five months. Totally my own fault, as i keep making bad choices. tsk tsk. i do at least keep coming back to what i 'ought' to be doing, so all is not lost. i have 30 pounds to lose and i figure unless a miracle happens it will take me about nineteen months to lose it all, thats if i keep on track !!! anyway i hope you are well and happy and life is good (as it is for me :) )
Kind regards

Hey Sandy,

Just stumbled across your log... love your inspirational quotes (Believe it Achieve it). I am also a self-sabatoger and could really relate to your trials - hope that soon I'll be relating to your successes as well. Way to go!! Wondering how you are doing now??

Hi. I wouldlove to blog with you. Your picture in the river appeals to me because I love the outdoors and my favorite clothing is a swimsuit, even though I would like to look better in one. nylvoh

I would like to join your group--is that possible?

Yes Suzy, our group is still intact and doing well. Debbi is about to goal and I am feeling closer. I have 3 weeks until my birthday, so we'll see how close I get. My mom fell and fractured her T12 while we were gone to Florida last week, so got home and hit the ground running caring for her. She is doing better but we had to move her today to a skilled nursing home, she seems happy right now. Between my niece (her oldest grandchild) and I we will be with her every day from 10-8. Hope she is only there for 7-10 days, we'll see. I am really trying to reach goal by my birthday, being very mindful of my eating, switching things up once again (I know whats new) just feel like I need to reprogram the ole bod. Did really well in Florida with my eating and exercise and came home up a pound, very discouraging. Was doing fat smash. So starting yesterday I am on yet another plan. It is called "Lets do lunch, you'll never have to diet again" it was featured in the June 1 issue of First magazine. Basically you eat fruit for breakfast, mid morning snack, afternoon snack and dinner and have a nice hearty lunch around 1 that has good carbs, protein and veggies. So far so good. I am happy to hear you are in a group that you enjoy, that is fantastic. So happy to hear your numbers doing better as well, keep it up! Love hearing from you (o:

YES--SANDYKAY, I am here in a group w/ people who have the same "disorder" that I do (you KNOW what that means as you were so wonderfully accepting to me). For some reason I was not able to post "comments" (& you know how talkative I am) on our group so it ended up being too frustrating as I could not really be a part of the group. Are you all still in tact & doing well? If so, give my love.

So your son has gotten "rid" of the wife that was so unstable? Is your grandson doing well? You were such a stable force in his life, And still carrying on w/your mom. I might start calling your Miss Nightingale!! Blessings to you.

My blood sugar has dropped 10 pts. (down only 10 lbs.); blood pressure OK--but on meds. Cholesterol not good despite meds; see doc in a week about that & blood sugar.

Glad to "hear" from you!!--Suzy

suzy, I always forget to peek back here, out of the blue this morning I looked and see you posted just a few days ago!! How are you doing? still on PT? Quickie update on the fam-
Oldest son Richie is doing really good, new girlfriend and has custody of his son 4-5 days out of the week.
Middle son Michael and his wife welcomed baby #1 on March 12, little girl Trinity Winter, beautiful little one. He is still going into the Air Force as an officer, he hopes to get the June class date, we'll know more within the next few weeks.
Daughter Holly and hubby Jeff love being parents to North, he is a character! He will be 6 months on May 1, and they are talking about baby #2.
Hubby and I are doing fantastic, still able to travel quite a bit. We'll be headed to Tampa Fl next month for a week and then back to FL to go on a cruise for my 50th bday! My mom is joining us on the cruise, she has her good days and not so good days, Holly and family are going as well and my niece Wendy and a friend and her hubby. I had orriginally planned on taking all the kids and fams on this cruise but Richie couldn't get away in June and Trinity can't go on cruise until she is 6 months, so looks like we'll be planning other trips with the boys. Another excuse to travel (like I need one!)
Debbi and soni are still plugging away (o:
I hope things are going well on your end. I will try and remember to check back here more often! As always I love hearing from you!!
