My Goal:
I want to lose 5-10 pounds that I've gradually gained back after losing them a couple years ago.


About me:
I'm a 52-year-old married woman (my husband is unemployed) and work as Research Manager for a consulting firm that is growing its research business. So I work long hours and feel stressed a lot. I have trouble staying away from good food when traveling for my job. I make exercise a mandatory part of my day, however, like brushing my teeth, tho' it is often difficult to squeeze in.


Diets I like:
I use DietPower software to track my weight, journal my food, and get me to my goal weight. It doesn't matter what I eat, as long as I record it. DietPower is a lifesaver.


Workout of choice:
3-mile fast walk/jog or 9-mile bike ride daily; will also climb 160+ flights of stairs as an alternative in a pinch.


My plan:
Continue using DietPower, exercising as above, and gradually working to lose weight so I can enjoy intermittent times of celebration with food and not worry about the calories AT ALL!


I need the most help with:
Binging when I've already eaten a lot on a given day. I need to realize when enough is enough so I don't lose sleep from the binge and feel like I have a hangover the next day. Best reminder during times I'm tempted to binge: TOMORROW you want to be able to enjoy food, so don't ruin tomorrow by indulging too much TODAY!
