Should I just give up? Super frustrated!

Nothing else in my life can cause me to stand in the bathroom and cry like my battle with my weight.

My goal on Dec 1 was to lose 10 pounds by New Years Eve (reasonable goal since I'm close to 200 pounds and just "starting" - for the umpteenth time. )

I lost 7.4 pounds the first two weeks, didn't weigh last week (was on vacation), THEN this morning I am UP 6 (yes - SIX!!!) pounds. Argh!! I think about all the kale and Brussels sprouts and collard green etc I've eaten and all the miles on the treadmill etc and I feel like giving up!

I think about all the luscious chocolate my husband consumed over the holidays while I abstained and I want to give up!

I think about the 2 hours a day of exercise I did on vacation (husband did none and gained no weight) and I want to give up!

I joined Point of No Return yesterday and am really, really wanting to be successful this time. I shouldn't have weighed in this morning but I wanted a benchmark for the starting of PoNR.

I'm in a really low place right now and I don't know where to go from here.
