Books/tv shows/movies that inspire you

Hey all.

One of my reasons for losing weight is to be more active and to be able to do adventure style activities more comfortably. For example this summer I plan to walk 230km of a local trail that runs along the coast near where I live.

As I was watching tv last night there was a program on about climbing Mt. Everest, which seems like a crazy thing to do.. but since I am now losing weight and am in the best shape of my life (cardiovascular wise that is.. in spite of the weight) I start day dreaming about doing cool stuff like this.

Anyway, I was wondering what sort of other ideas inspire people. I'm thinking in terms of books/movies/tv shows.. for example:

Bill Bryson - A Walk In The Woods - is a GREAT book. Very funny about a guy who walks the Appalachian Trail.. and well, he's not in that great shape... but still an inspiring story..

Survivor Man/Man Vs Wild tv show.. really inspires me to want to do extreme stuff..

Anyone else have any examples of this sort of thing? Would love to hear from you if you know of any good movies I can watch to keep me motivated to lose 30lbs!
